Give

“For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Matthew 6:21

Our Generosity Should Reflect God’s Generosity Toward Us…

God blesses us with good gifts to use and enjoy, but He calls us to remember that they belong to Him. We are to use His gifts for His glory and His kingdom. Our generosity flows from the abundant grace of Jesus in our lives, rooted in His sacrifice for us.

When you give to Coolidge Baptist Church, your generosity sustains the ministry of our church and you are making an eternal investment in the Kingdom of God—both in Coolidge, GA, and beyond!

Frequently Asked Questions

What is online giving?

Online giving is the ability to give a donation or schedule a regular donation using your debit card, credit card, or bank account.

What is a regular donation?

You have the option to make a one-time donation or make it regular. A regular donation is automatically given either weekly, every other week, monthly, or twice a month. Your regular donation will continue until you log into your account and change it.

Are there any hidden fees?

No, there are no hidden fees for you to give online. You select the dollar amount for your gift and that is the dollar amount that will be recognized as your donation. The church is charged a small fee to process the payment, and you can choose whether or not to cover that cost by checking the box. But the choice is yours.

Can I see my giving record?

You will receive an email notification each time you make a donation. However, if you want to see all of your donations, you can log into your Planning Center account by using the button in the section above.

How do I participate in the offering time at church if my contribution is automatically processed online?

You can still participate in the offering during the service by reflecting on the Scripture and message of the song being sung during the offering.

How do I give if my income varies from pay period to pay period?

Depending on which is more feasible for your situation, you can handle giving with a fluctuating income in a couple of different ways. Some people choose to give based on their earnings for each individual pay-period. Others estimate their total earnings for the year and give a portion of the total each week or month throughout the year.

Should I give off my gross earnings or the net amount of my paycheck?

Scripture doesn’t use the literal terms “net” or “gross.” It’s more important to note that the spirit in which we give is of greatest value to God. We should give him our first and our best. He tells us in 2 Corinthians 9:7 that “each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give; not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”

Is giving online safe?

Planning Center is SOC 2 Type 2 certified. The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) created the Service Organization Control (SOC 2) framework to test organizations’ ability to protect data from potential threats.

To pass SOC 2, Planning Center worked with an AICPA-approved auditor, Johanson Group, to critique our company based on five areas: security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy. This audit included a review of policies, backup and disaster recovery, incident response, firewall configurations, and other critical areas. After completing the audit, they received an Auditor’s Report, proving Planning Center meets and exceeds the SOC 2 criteria.

Planning Center’s payment processor, Stripe, is one of the largest, most advanced payment processors in the world. They handle payment processing for services like Kickstarter, Lyft, Shopify, Pinterest, Twitter, Heroku, SurveyMonkey, and many other companies. Stripe is also a certified “PCI Service Provider Level 1” payment processor.
